Directions to the Schools Library Service

We are located at the Professional Development Centre in Bromborough.

1. From traffic light junction of Allport Road with the A41

Continue along Allport Road for 0.2 miles to the traffic lights at the junction with Allport Lane. Turn right into Allport Lane (signposted Bromborough) and proceed for 0.3 miles to the left turn into Acre Lane. Turn into Acre Lane and the Centre is on the left within 0.2 miles.

2. From Birkenhead

Take the A41 (New Chester Road) and continue for 5 miles to the traffic lights at the junction with Allport Road. Turn right into Allport Road and proceed as in (1) above.

3. From the M53 Motorway

Exit at junction 5 and take the A41 (signposted Eastham, Bromborough and Birkenhead). Continue for 1.6 miles (passing through the multiple traffic lights at Eastham and then under the footbridge over the A41) to the traffic lights at the Allport Road junction. Turn left into Allport Road and then proceed as in (1) above.

4. From Chester

Take the A41 (signposted to Birkenhead) and continue until this road passes under junction 5 of the M53. Continue on the A41 as detailed in (3) above.

5. From North Wales

Take the A550 out of Queensferry following the signs for Birkenhead. Continue until the road merges with the A41. Join the A41 (signposted Birkenhead) and proceed until the road passes under junction 5 of the M53. Continue as in (3) above.
