Fiction loans
Every teacher in primary schools can borrow a collection of books from SLS to support wider reading. The loans can be made for up to one school year.

Project loans
You can request a project loan of resources (books, posters, videos, CDs, DVDs as available) to support your topic for the term. Projects are delivered to schools at the beginning of term and collected at the end, and you are also welcome to visit SLS and choose your own resources.
We have resources to support the National Curriculum and the International Primary Curriculum

Artefact loans
The SLS has a large collection of historical, religious and multi-cultural artefacts which can be borrowed for a term. Lists of artefacts are available on request, or from the Wirral Learning Grid. You may come and choose your own, or SLS will select for you.

Video and audio-cassettes,DVDs, art prints, CDs, DVDs, photo packs
These may be included in project loans if available but can also be requested separately

Whiteboard Active
These are listed on the request forms and may be borrowed for one term

Class sets, play sets, author sets
Sets of book are available for one term loan and can be ordered in advance. These include sets of one title (either 30 or 6 copies), and sets of books by one author or illustrator.
Lists are available on request or from the Wirral Learning Grid.

Science Resources
The SLS loans resources on behalf of the Science advisory teachers. Please phone to check availability.

Picture book resources
