How To Play Mastermind

The computer chooses a secret combination of coloured pegs and can use a colour more than once in the combination.
The computers pegs are hidden behind question marks.

You can have up to 10 goes to see if you can guess the combination.

There are six different coloured pegs:
Purple Peg Orange Peg Red Peg Yellow Peg Blue Peg Green Peg

To make a guess , click on each empty space at a time and it will change colour.
Pick a peg

Keep clicking on a peg until it becomes the colour that you want.
You need to do this for all four pegs.
Then click the 'Check' button to see how closely your guess matches the computers combination.
If the computer shows a black peg next to your guess it means you have a peg which is in the right place and its the right colour

If you get a grey peg, that means one of your pegs is the right colour but in the wrong place.

Example - if the computers secret combination is Blue Peg Blue Peg Red Peg Green Peg
and you guess Blue Peg Green Peg Red Peg
you would get Pegs To Show Results because the blue peg is the right colour and in the right place.
The red and green pegs are both in the combination
Use the black and grey pegs to help you make your next guess.
If you get 4 black pegs you win
