Consultation Concludes
A new option arose during the Authority's wide-ranging consultation involving closing both St Mary's CE (Controlled) Primary School and Millfields Primary School, then opening a new CE Controlled Primary school at the Millfields site. The Diocese of Chester, in conjunction with the LA, decided to extend the consultation to allow consultees to comment on this new option.
Meetings for parents and other interested parties took place on:
- 7 June 2006 at 7 pm in Millfields School for the Millfields parents and community
- 8 June 2006 at 7 pm in St Mary’s Church for St Mary’s parents and community
The extended consultation period for schools in the Eastham area has now ended. The closing date was 6th July 2006.
