Under paragraph 8 of Schedule 2 to the Education and Inspections Act, on 23rd January 2008 Wirral's Cabinet approved the proposal to cease to maintain Pensby Park Primary School, Fishers Lane, Pensby, Wirral, CH61 8SD from 31st August 2008.
Amalgamation of Pensby Infant School and Pensby Junior School
Under Paragraphs 10 and 15 of Schedule 2 to the Education and Inspections Act 2006, on 30th January 2008, the School's Adjudicator approved these proposals.

At this meeting, the options will be explained in more detail. Once this has been done, there will be time for people to say what they think about the options.
The staff and governors of the school will be invited to the meeting.
The Council’s Cabinet member for Children's Services and Lifelong Learning, Councillor Phil Davies, will also be there to hear your views.
Senior staff from theChildren's Services Department will also attend to explain the options and make careful notes of what is said.
