Proposal
Closure of Prenton Infant School, Bramwell Avenue, Prenton
The requirements of section 29 and Part 1 of Schedule 6 to, the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 and the Education (School Organisation Proposals) (England) Regulations 1999 and their subsequent amendments have now been satisfied and the Council has considered the proposals to close Prenton Infant School and Prenton Junior School with effect from 31st August 2005.
As no objections were received during the statutory representation period, Wirral Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by paragraph 4(1a) of Schedule 6 to the 1998 Act, approves the proposals
