Primary Places Review Phase 3:
South Wallasey

Closure of Poulton Primary School

Under paragraph 19 of Schedule 2 to the Education and Inspections Act 2006, on 23rd January 2008 Wirral's Cabinet approved the proposal to cease to maintain Poulton Primary School, Alderley Road, Wallasey, CH44 4ES from 31st August 2008.

Establishment of a new F1 (nursery) class at Park Primary School

Under paragraph 30 of Schedule 5 of The School Organisation (Prescribed Alterations to Maintained Schools) (England) Regulations 2007, on 23rd January 2008 Wirral's Cabinet approved the linked proposal to establish an F1 class at Park Primary School, Woodstock Road, Wallasey, CH44 5RN from 1st September 2008.

At this meeting, the options will be explained in more detail. Once this has been done, there will be time for people to say what they think about the options.

The staff and governors of the school will be invited to the meeting.

The Council’s Cabinet member for Children's Services and Lifelong Learning, Councillor Phil Davies, will also be there to hear your views.
Senior staff from theChildren's Services Department will also attend to explain the options and make careful notes of what is said.
