The Youth parliament, which was launched at the House of Commons in 1999, consists of over 400 Members (MYPs) aged between 11 and 18 from all across the U.K.

Young people have an opportunity to have their say regarding any issues that are facing them today. It is an exciting opportunity for you to be involved in the democratic process at national level, and allows you to take positive action with local communities on issues that need to be faced and overcome.
