Shield Harald Harfagre & Ingimund

Shield How Did They Come?

Ingimund's Saga with Foreword by Magnus Magnusson.

A group of Viking settlers from Norway left their homeland and arrived on the shores of North Wirral.
Ingimund's Saga is about why these people left Norway, their pastimes, their religion and one of the greatest battles to have taken place in the British Isles - the battle of Brunanburh.

The late Magnus Magnusson, one of the countries leading television presenters and well-known Viking scholar provided the foreword for this book as well as help and encouragement to the author.

Each school in Wirral will receive three complimentary copies of Ingimund's Saga thanks to the generous sponsorship from Wirral Council, the Trondheim and Vestfold Kommune's (Councils) in Norway, Ryan Air and Unilever.

Ingimund's Saga can be purchased online from Amazon.co.uk
