Schools are required to demonstrate they have met the criteria for all four core areas.
There will need to be evidence of how the
whole school approach has been used in the process.
The evidence may be oral, written or observed and good practice suggests
'triangulating' or combining different sources of evidence
- for example ensuring that a written policy is backed up by discussion
with pupils and staff.
When a school meets this audit in full they will be accredited with National Healthy School Status by Wirral
Healthy Schools Programme.
