NEW OPPORTUNITY FOR STUDENTS WHO MAY NOT SUCCEED

From September 2006 Shaftesbury Youth Club will be offering NCFE level 1
and 2 Entry to Uniform Services Courses for year 10 and 11 students who may
be struggling academically.

Level 1 is equivalent to 2 grade D GCSE's and is delivered over 35 days
(180 GLH)

Level 2 is equivalent to 5 grade B GCSR's and is delivered over 70 days
(360 GLH)

Both courses can be delivered as a block or on 1 or 2 days per week
throughout the whole academic year.

These courses are very practical with students building a portfolio of
worksheets and assessments.
