Welcome to the Mainstream Admissions & Transport Section, which provides a vital service to parents, their children and schools. Our work encompases co-ordinated admissions to primary and to secondary schools, and procedures concerning exclusions.

Our aim is to manage the Authority's admissions procedures successfully whilst maintaining compliance with both DfES Regulations and Code of Practice and Council Policies. We endeavour to be both helpful and professional in our dealings with parents and we are constantly striving to improve the service.
