Example of Art Work

The final exhibition at the Williamson Art Gallery was an exciting culmination of the Art & Architecture project. The work on show in the exhibition was only a small amount of all that was generated in Wirral Schools over the year, but it reflected the range, diversity & quality of work being practised in Wirral schools.

Sixty one schools exhibited, ranging from Nursery School pupils to Foundation students at Wirral Metropolitan College. The projects included large sculptural pieces, paintings, drawings in a variety of media, textile hangings, photography, print studies & a range of work inspired by the Wirral sixth form visit to Rome to explore the Art & Architecture theme. This latter visit was supported by the Eridge Trust.
