Football club at
Somerville
Primary
School

In Somerville Primary School we have our own football club. Mr
Lyons a year two teacher runs this club on a Wednesday at half past
three till twenty past four .At
Football club we have football matches and warm ups to stretch our muscles. During our warm ups we do stretches, sprints, dribbling, jogging round the pitch and ball control with either our heads or feet or chest or maybe even our knee. After we have finished our warm up, we set up the pitch ready for a football match.

When we play football we get placed in all different positions. We really enjoy playing football. We either play in the football

cage or on the grass. We have to wear shorts and t-shirt otherwise you will get very hot if it is a warm day if it is raining you have to play inside the hall .
