PSHE / Bullying

Participation and Inclusion Branch, in partnership with Wirral DAAT, has promoted the use of Restorative Practice in mainstream and special schools to tackle many aspects of problematic behaviour including bullying. Use of these practices is growing with over 30 staff in 12 schools having trained to become facilitators. The School Drug Adviser and Principal Exclusions Officer have also become facilitator trainers. The next round of training will take place on November 2008 and will include staff from Foxfield, Kilgarth and Claremount. Gilbrook School has already had staff trained in facilitation.
