Entitlement Training Opportunities
There is no charge for these activities. Please note that Entitlement does not necessarily mean the activity is for every school, some of the activities provide differentiated support to specifically targeted schools.
Examples of entitlement activities include those that are -
- Funded through a specific local or national grants
e.g. NGfL, Drugs Strategy, Teenage Pregnancy Strategy, Health Promoting Schools
- Part of the national Primary and Secondary Strategies
- National priorities such as Underachievement - Gender Issues,
- Local priorities such as Behaviour Support Plan, SEN Plan
- Learning for All etc.
- An activity for supporting identified schools causing concern identified in line with the LA - Schools Code of Practice.
- Induction of newly appointed Heads and Deputies
- Support for NQTs (Induction Programme)
- Annual Primary Headteachers’, Deputies and Assistant Headteachers’ Conference
- Annual Secondary Headteachers’ Conference
- Annual Secondary Deputy Headteachers’ Conference
- Termly briefings and day conferences for Primary Headteachers
- Entitlement documents produced by Wirral LA
