School Focused Projects
All schools purchasing the Service Level Agreement are able to access individual school focused support and advice.
In the main, schools will have identified the School Focused Development Activities through the processes of School Self-Evaluation and the writing of School Improvement or School Development Plans.
Once schools have identified an area of development or support, they are expected to complete one of the standard forms (copies included here) and forward the outline to Mike Unwin, either electronically or in paper form. Once received this is recorded and acknowledged and the appropriate Inspector, Consultant, Adviser, Advisory Teacher or Wirral Leading Teacher is sent a copy with a request to contact the school within ten days.
On the first contact with the school the expectation is that the needs identified by the school are translated into a support plan by the provider and dates and times are agreed by the school and the service. An Action Plan pro forma is provided to facilitate this process and to ensure there is a record of agreed actions.
Once the activity has been delivered an evaluation is requested from the school and the provider, which is to be returned to
the identified staff member on the application form. An evaluation form pro forma is available from the trainer.
