"Five Little Ducks"

What will this game will achieve?
This will help your child to count back from 5.  It will also allow your child to order according to size.

You will need:

                                                       
How do you play?

• Begin by looking at the five ducks and ordering them according to size.
  
• You can talk about two of the ducks being the same size.
  
• Now sing the song (see resources page) with your child.
• You can pretend to be the 'Mother Duck' whilst your child moves the correct number of ducks 'over the hill and far away.'
• Each time you say "Quack, quack, quack, quack" encourage your child to return one less duck.
