What will this game will achieve?
This activity will help your child count forwards and backwards along a number line.  It will also make them more familiar with odd and even numbers.

You will need:

                                                       
How do you play?

• Place the footsteps in the correct order from one to ten in a line along the floor
• Make sure they are no further apart than your child's stride
• Roll the die; and even number must be thrown to start
• Continue to roll the die - move forwards for even numbers and backwards for odd numbers
• Continue until your child reaches 10
• How many rolls of the die did it take to reach 10?
