"Spider Race"
What will this game will achieve?
This activity will help your child with addition of two numbers.
It will also help them recognise that addition can be done in
any order.
You will
need:
How do you play?
Let the
youngest person go first
The first
player rolls the both dice and adds up the total
The player
then finds that number on the spider's web and places his/her
spider on that number
Player
2 does the same
When
its player 1's turn again the two dice are thrown and this
total is added to the number that their spider is on/ They
then move to this number on the web
e.g.
The first
spider to reach 30 or more is the winner
