"Sweets"

What will this game will achieve?
This activity will help your child to understand the operation of division.  It will also reinforce the two times table.

***SAFETY***
Please explain to your child that the sweets in this pack are only plasticine.  Keep out of reach of small children.


You will need:

• The sweets are placed in the sweet box in the centre of the large base-board
• The players take it in turns to throw the dice and move their counter around the large base board
• The number written on the sweet they land on indicates how many sweets are to be taken from the sweet box - these must then be shared equally between the two parts of the players own small sweet board
• If a player lands on an odd number of sweets he/she loses his/her go
• The first player to fill his/her board exactly is the winner
