"Tricky Triangles"

What will this game will achieve?
This will help to develop your child's problem solving skills.  It will also give them practice with addition to 12.

You will need:

• Place the number of triangles onto the base-board in this order:
     
  
• Ask your child to add up the number on the yellow triangles, (the triangles along the yellow line) and write the answer down for each. Then on the blue triangle and finally on the red triangles
• Your child will now see that they all add up to 12
• Ask your child to rearrange the number triangles so that each line adds up to 8
