A Written Ministerial Statement was laid in Parliament on 22nd July 2010, informing Parliament that ContactPoint would be shut down on 6th August 2010. Privacy Notice
Children and parents/carers have a legal right under the Data Protection Act to know about the information that schools and others hold about them. A Privacy Notice is designed to do this and summarises the information that is held, why it is held and the third parties with whom it may be shared. A copy of the Notice can be obtained here
