A Written Ministerial Statement was laid in Parliament on 22nd July 2010, informing Parliament that ContactPoint would be shut down on 6th August 2010. Children and parents/carers have a legal right under the Data Protection Act to know about the information that schools and others hold about them. Wirral's National Challenge Plans
